When I create a marketing funnel, the first thing I do is create a squeeze page. Some people call it a lead capture page. A squeeze page is designed to get the prospects name, email, and phone number. The page should list the benefits of opting into your page. I always like to offer a free ebook or newsletter in exchange for my prospect filling out the opt in form.

The next phase of my marketing funnel is a funded proposal. I market an informational product on the front end of the campaign to all my opt ins. Any sales I make through the funded proposal pays for my marketing costs as well as a small profit. A funded proposal is crucial to your marketing funnel because your prospects are funding your campaign.

The next step is to have an autoresponder. Two good ones are Aweber and Getresponse. They both cost less than $20.00 a month. An autoresponder is the backbone of your marketing funnel because this is where you can create automated messages that go out to your list on auto pilot. You will be using your autoresponder to market your business opportunity, build relationships, and market other products and systems to your list.

The final phase of my marketing funnel is a good business opportunity. I look for business opportunities that are designed to work well with online marketing. This creates the opportunity for duplication because I want my marketing funnels to funnel people through my funded proposal, then through my backend autoresponder campaigns, to finally coming out on the backend as a new distributor for my network marketing business.

Multi-level Marketing – Making It Work!

 Multi-Level Marketing or Network Marketing is a marketing strategy that compensates members of the network not only for product sales they personally generate, but also for the sales of others they introduced to the company.

MLM has long been trumpeted as the ultimate online income generating strategy. But is it really worth it? How Does Mlm Work? 

Now I’ll get straight to the point and say that MLM actually does work and contrary to popular belief it is NOT illegal. The problem is choosing the right Multi-level Marketing Program. My personal recommendation is never to join an MLM program that doesn’t offer a product (either tangible or electronic) or a service. Mlm Programs that do not offer any product or service will be harder for you to sell to others after you’ve paid your fee because it raises red flags in many people’s minds. In the past similar MLM programs have been used to rip people off!

 However there are in fact ‘MLM-like’ programs that do offer quite reasonable compensation plans. Generally you’ll want to seek out programs that will not require huge amounts of investment simply because your success will depend much on your ability to get others to join the program as well. The higher the cost, the less likely that people will join such a program. 

Once you’ve determined a good MLM program that offers a useful product at a reasonable fee and comes with a generous compensation plan, you can begin contemplating getting involved. However it is also good to take into account how easily the program can be marketed, if it is in fact truly a good deal it, will sell itself. Is the program that you are considering to join likely to attract the eye of others or will people likely overlook it?

These things are important things to take into consideration and it’s one of the reasons why many people have failed at multi-level marketing. So if you are interested in this type of income generation proceed cautiously work at it with a long term view and start making some real money online.

Are you able to create a list that you own? – This is a major and I have first hand experience of building a list for over 4 years and when I finally decided to move away from it, I lost every single lead that I worked so hard to get. I cannot emphasize the important of single point. As you know, the money is in the list. If you do not own a list, you will not have anyway to build relationships with them and market to them.
6. Do they offer training? You will need training with the system set up and then with marketing.
7. Is it Duplicatable? Essential component with your MLM business.

Another added bonus would be to have a forum & community networking place so that you will be able to get your questions answered from the other members in the community.

Finally I want to mention that even if you find a system that fulfills all of the above and more, if you do not take consistent action it will be a useless. So, key is to find a system with the above features, have a plan of action and execute your action plan.
