The Binary Mlm Compensation Plan - Too Many “Gimmicks” To Understand?

A binary compensation plan, as its name suggests is based on the number 2. A distributor in a company that operates a binary compensation plan can only build a downline consisting of two legs. A left leg and a right leg.

That’s correct, a binary compensation plan only allows you to have a maximum of two frontline distributors. Any more that you personally sponsor would have to placed underneath one of your two personally sponsored frontline distributors. This is another case of spillover.

The width restriction, however, is not as bad as it sounds as the average network marketer will only sponsor between 2 to 3 people in their entire career. The only way to build a binary is to go deep. Depth cultivates leadership and a team spirit.

The spillover and volume driven nature of the binary compensation plan fosters teamwork. This is advantageous to newer, lesser experienced distributors who can expect to get good support from their upline leaders. Another advantage is distributors are paid weekly in most companies that operate binary plans.

Unlike the matrix or unilevel plans, your commissions are not dependent on the volumes generated by each individual level in your downline, but on the overall volume generated by each of your two legs. This means you’re paid on the efforts of every single distributor in your downline.

However, there’s a limit to how much volume you can generate in a leg. Once you reach this limit, you must “re-enter”, as a distributor in your own downline. While on first impressions, a binary plan appears simple in concept, it is infact, a very controversial pay plan.

This is in large part due to its beginnings in the early 1990s in gold coin scams, and other shady products such as high-ticket one-time travel certificates and overpriced prepaid phone cards. This is also in large part because companies that operate binary plans make it very difficult for their distributors to generate commissions.

Binary plans are very “gimmicky”. Companies that operate binary plans require you to “balance” your two legs in order to maximise your payout. If your legs are not balanced, that is generating the same amount of volume, then you are only paid on based on the volume of the weaker leg.

For instance, say that you have a left leg that’s generating 700 points and a right leg that’s generating 500 points. In this case, you’ll only be paid the commission based on the lowest common denominator, which is 500 points. Can you say breakage? Hmmm…

Some companies will carry over the remainder 200 points over to the next pay period, but this only makes balancing both legs more difficult because you have the extra carry over points to account for.

Another unusual aspect of a binary plan is many companies allow you to start with three “business centers”. This essentially means you start with yourself at the top, and then you sponsor yourself on your left leg and your right leg. This effectively allows you to have three downlines, a left downline, a right downline and an overall downline and it allows you to get paid on each of these three downlines.

What will ultimately limit the binary plan’s acceptance is they are notorious for unrewarding commissions. In a very well known company that uses a binary, you must generate a personal volume of $125 and have both legs producing at least $310 – that’s a total of $745 of volume that you’re responsible for bringing in to the company – to earn a commission of $40, a commission rate of just over 5%.

Mass Control…The Art And Science Of MLM Millionaires

I am about to share with you the secrets of MLM “heavy hitters” that are able to recreate their 7 figure incomes over and over again, so buckle up because this is gonna be one hell of a ride.


Have you ever been let down by a Mlm Company, whether they got shut down for business practices that weren’t above board, or the FDA didn’t like the product. Have you ever been involved with a company and by no fault of your own they go under. If you’ve never experienced either of these events, I am extremely happy for you, but it is likely that if you never have, one such disappointment may be right around the corner.


One of the most popular questions that I get all of the time is simply, “Jon how do these big time MLM’ers manage to go from company to company and keep their group? And seem to make more money with each transition?” Folks that question is of profound importance because if you plan on making a lifelong career of this bidness, you’re going to need to know that you may have to change companies once or twice. The answer behind these cash creating MLM dynamo’s ability to move their group at will has to do with MASS CONTROL.


If you’ve followed along with each lesson, you’ve now got a great perspective on the importance of systems, and the need for duplication, and the need to lead with you as the expert and maintain positioning, and those systems combined are what is necessary to have MASS CONTROL. No big Mlm Success will ever tell you this out in the open, but if you ever get to the friend level with one of them, they will share with you that what you’re selling, what you want someone to buy into isn’t the product, and it isn’t even the company, it’s YOU. This realization allows the heavy hitters to build systems around themselves that build their following and do so by promoting them, their expertise, and their knowledge not the company or the product. This is of key importance, DON’T MISS THIS.


If you make the mistake of creating all of your systems to be company specific or product specific, friend you are on the losing end of the battle. If something were to change with the company or product, you’ve lost your group because you had them buying into the company or the product, over which you have no control however if you have them buying into you, and position yourself correctly, they will follow you everywhere, no matter what the company is, or what the product is because they identify with YOU! If you currently have systems in place that are company or product specific, do yourself a favor and STOP!


Why spend your hard earned and important marketing dollars on increasing the exposure for the company, use it to promote yourself. Why put people through a process that simply puts the product on a pedestal and doesn’t position you as anything but the “dullard” that pointed them to the website. Are you beginning to see how so much of the industry is build on principles that haven’t worked since the 1980’s when it was in its infancy?


In order to have your “retirement” taken care of and truly have the opportunity to enjoy a residual income for the rest of your life, you MUST create a group that follows you and the opportunities that you align with, not one company or product. This idea of MASS CONTROL is simply about creating the largest group possible that meet you, like you, and want to work with you. And if you pay close attention to the concepts that I have shared with you, you’ll be able to design a system in no time (or use mine) and begin building YOUR empire, not the empire of some company that is where real security in this industry comes from, and anyone that tells you differently is probably trying to keep this concept a secret.


You see, I could’ve made this entire mini-course the same drabble that you get from every supposed guru, or the same rah rah stuff you get at every company convention. I could have told you to make a list of your friends and family, say your goals out loud every day while standing on your head, rely on the law of attraction to flood your life with wealth and such, but I didn’t. I made the choice to share with you a system and method of building the opportunity you choose that literally has taken me years, blood, sweat and tears to compile.


So you’re asking yourself, “Why in the heck are you sharing it?” Well it is pretty simple. One because I am tired of seeing an industry that I love and believe in reduced to the status of used car salesman on crack, and two because I believe that if I have enough people using the system and experiencing success I will be able to achieve my dream of changing the 3% success rate in the Mlm Industry.


Friend, the “American Dream” is alive and well, and it is available to anyone who recognizes that success leaves clues, and being willing to implement those findings. The country right now may be unsure about oil prices, food shortages, political unrest, illegal immigration, and a whole bunch of other issues, but NOT me. I believe that thanks to this industry and the systems I’ve designed, anyone that wants better will have an opportunity to achieve it, and I sincerely hope that this mini-course has prompted you to want more, be more, do more, and have more.
