I was introduced to Xango. wow this co. will reach a billon in sales by the end of 2007. the product is great, it helps naturally with Cancer,Diabetes,Arthritisand many many more health problems.Iwant to build this business where do i find others who are interested in mlm. the co. is only 4 years old,started in 2002. help.

Yes, I have a friend distributing this product and she certainly claims it works. You need to drink one bottle a day and I think the retail cost is $10 to $20 per bottle depending on volume purchased.
As far as getting money to invest, this is already a fully-funded product on the roll. I am not sure what you would bring in terms of value-add unless you plan on a mass-west-coast shipping and marketing facility.
I believe the ground floor investors have been established. It isn’t that new and it is well-known.

Understanding How Multi Level Marketing (mlm) Works

In recent years, MLMs have gotten into telecommunications, including local and long distance services and cell phones. Others have developed online services or website products. Today, virtually everything is available from an MLM. Over 2,000 companies in the United States are MLMs and they made over $28 billion in sales in the past year. MLMs employ 13 million people as independent sales people.



Unlike traditional companies that sell to the public, MLMs work on the principal of relationship marketing. Each distributor sells to his friends, family and co-workers. Usually, one of these individuals is interested in becoming a distributor and will sell to his friends and relatives and so on. The system works because each distributor has a vested interest in making it work. The distributor receives a percentage of the sales of the people he has recruited. As well, each distributor is also a consumer of the product being sold. Product and brand loyalty is fierce. There is no need for a store. Everything is sold direct to the consumer and the actual products are shipped to the customer from the MLM warehouse.



A distributor has only so many friends and relatives. What can be done to enhance sales and attract new recruits? One way is to purchase mailing lists or “leads” of customers who have shown, by responding to a generic business opportunity ad, an interest in becoming a distributor. These lists contain the contact information of potential recruits: names, addresses, phone numbers, email addresses and other information.



How are leads generated? Companies such as http://MLMLeadGenie.Com provide leads obtained from newspaper, direct mail and Internet advertisements. They then compile the names and contact information according to phone numbers, e-mail addresses, survey data, gender specific groups, area code, and other categories. In every case, the leads represent people who have indicated they have an interest in working on their own as a distributor for an MLM. Prices of lead lists vary depending on the category and number of leads ordered. The distributor uses the lists for his/her own preferred method of contacting new prospects. Because the people to be contacted want to be contacted, the distributor has a greater chance of getting recruits than with a scatter-gun mailing to people who may or may not be interested in the product.



In addition to buying lists of category specific leads, distributors can purchase the Mlm Genealogy Lead List, which provides more than 4.1 million leads with names, telephone numbers, fax numbers and e-mail and mailing addresses. This set of lists is sold to the distributor on a CD. There are also services, such as http://GoLeads.Com, which offer a monthly access to the company’s computer database. http://GoLeads.Com offers leads to 13 million businesses and 200 million consumers in the United States.



The Internet is filled with ideas for increasing leads and multiplying sales. There is a book of customized sales letters that can be downloaded and used in mailings. As well, there are networking events, blogs, websites, books, newsletters, forums and focus groups to share information on generating leads. There is WAHM, the work at home moms network, and the Parentpreneur Club, offering advice to mothers and parenting couples respectively. Several journals and online newsletters can be found online, including Network Marketing Times Online and the Network Marketing Business Journal. Google Adwords can also be a source of new leads.



While MLMs work on the principal of relationship marketing, the most successful distributor is one who looks beyond relationship boundaries and works hard to attract new clients and recruits.

Hard Work Can Destroy Your Mlm Business, SO WORK SMART

There is a belief that goes back for many years that the person who works hardest in their Network Marketing Business is the one who is most successful. This nonsense and if anyone tries to sell you on this run from him. One of favourite examples of this is “practice makes perfect”. This is an absurd saying, because practicing the wrong thing a million times will not trigger perfection to take place. Now Mike Litman, a motivational speaker that I completely admire always says “You Don’t Have To Get It Right, You Just Have To Get It Going!” At first glance it would seem doing it wrong is ok; however this is not the case Mike is simply saying, don’t wait until everything is perfect in your business, get started “DOING IT” and improve as you go.

Hard work is not the solution to being effective in your MLM business, “WORKING SMART” is! If working hard alone was the solution to success then all those people that stood over railway track and hammered spikes all day when our railway was first built would all have had million dollar bank accounts. Our school system and our people as a whole have been won over that if you find a good job and work hard for your employer you will have womb to tomb employment. I call people every day that had a job and have lost it, even though they were a hard worker. With the economy entering into one of the worst economic collapses since the 30s and all those hard workers are being educated in reality, it’s called “unemployment”.

A short ago I spoke to a buddy about joining me in my enterprise and he said that he already had a great business and did not need what I had to offer. My buddy had a farming operation and by all appearances, seemed to be doing very well for himself. Using his own carpentry skills, he built his own farm house along with a host of other farm buildings, with one being a 100,000 dollar pig barn. He had a new tractor and other assorted equipment that he operated to maintain his crops and livestock. Each morning, my buddy would be up at 5am and tending his stock by 6 am (7days a week). Then he would be out tending his fields through the day and evenings during the planting and harvesting seasons. Nobody could deny the fact that my friend worked very, very hard and had much to show for his efforts.

I asked my friend what he would do if he became injured and couldn’t handle carrying the pales of feed, throwing the bales of hay or driving the farm vehicles. He told me he did not know what he would do. He said that if it was serious and the healing time stopped him from looking after his farm for very long he said it could result in him losing his farm. He had been sold on the idea that hard work would be enough; but he like all those that have jobs don’t often realize until something bad happens, if you are unable to work hard you could lose it all.

John Paul Getty statedthat he would rather have 1 % of the invested efforts of 100 people than 100% of the efforts of 1 person. MLM offers people this ability and it is why Robert Kyosaki and Donald Trump committed an entire chapter in their bestselling book “WHY WE WANT TO MAKE YOU RICH” to this topic. Unfortunately there are a tons of people that also use this same faulty approach of working hard to build their Mlm Organization and it does not work. To be successful in your MLM business you need to work smart and not hard and when you know, understand and apply the right strategies and concepts and systems your bank account will indicate why working smarter just makes total sense. You may be an amazing prospector and sign people into your MLM venture every day or week but if what you do is not duplicateable you have a job yet no leverage. If you stop working hard you would likely lose it all.

3. Agel (Was #2 in Previous Year’s Issue). Agel, a nutritional products company, was started in 2005 by Glen Jensen, based on an innovative gel delivery technology. The company operates in 20 markets worldwide. The compensation which is hybrid, pays to 7 levels.

4. 4-Life (Was #3 in Previous Year’s Issue). 4-Life is a nutritional products company founded in 1998 by David Lisonbee, based on immune boosting factors derived from certain animals. They operate in 40 markets worldwide, and report up to 64 percent payout from the 7 level unilevel compensation plan.

5. Bestway (Was not in Previous Year’s Issue). Bestway Network was started in 2002 in Spain. Although we could not access the company’s website which was listed on MLMInsider.com, the company reportedly uses a binary compensation plan.

6. Isagenix (Was #4 in Previous Year’s Issue). Isagenix is a nutritional products company started in 2002 by John Anderson (considered in top 3 private label manufacturers and formulators), Jim Coover (previously CFO of the Cambridge Diet) and Kathy Coover (renowned trainer in MLM). The company uses a binary compensation plan.

7. Sisel (Was not in Previous Year’s Issue). Sisel is an acronym from: Science, Innovation, Success, Energy, and Longevity. The company was founded in 2006 by Tom Mower and his son Tom Jr, after he sold his previous company. The company productes personal care products and dietary supplements and uses a hybrid compensation plan.

8. Intway (Was not in Previous Year’s Issue). Intway Corporation provides hosting, web and financial instruments for online investing business as well as nutritional products. The company was started in 2005 by a group of entrepreneurs and operates using a binary plan.

9. Monavie (Was #8 in Previous Year’s Issue). Monavie was founded in 2004 by Dallin Larsen and now operates in 10 worldwide markets. The company distributes a nutritional drink made from the Brazilian acai berry and brought in $854 million in revenue in 2008. This is obviously a hot growth company and the founder was recently recognized in BusinessWeek’s Entrepreneurs of the Year award.

Why are people so skeptical about Ignite?

I have just started this great business opportunity a couple of weeks ago. I had been actively searching for a “biz op” for some time because I needed extra income to move out of my parents home. (and I’m 33!)
This “social networking” business intrigued me because there is no monthly product to buy to sell at parties or door-to-door like other successfull legal pyramids. (MaryKay, AmWay) I don’t have to convince people they need electricity, or that they have to pay their energy bill every month!
There is also the business building side, the one where I can sponsor other people to teach them what I’ve learned. This Multi Level Marketing is a secondary business no? Hey, my feelings won’t get hurt if you say “not now” or “I have questions” AFTER getting all of the information. I do, however, tend to feel down if my friends say no before attending a meeting.
What must I do? I even bought a special domain name to make my site look better. (www.PowerIgnite.com)

Know why people are skeptical? ‘Cuz MLM is BS.

I tip my hat to you for getting off your butt and doing something and with an actual product to sell (energy) then you actually have a job- yay! However, when it comes to MLM and the “building” side of it, it will never go anywhere near as fast as they tell you it will. Most of the people who “join” you will crap out quickly, will never do anything, or will require a lot of maintenance. Mlm Companies do not believe in investing in people, so they get others (without necessarily any talent, patience, etc.) to do it for them. They do this when the prospects are slim of getting people worth developing.

And what’s inevitable about any pyramid, sorry it is, is that you could make way more money in a regular commission sales role. That’s the real outrage- they compensate you with subpar “opportunity” instead of cash, in large degree.

That’s why people are skeptical.

It sucks when people reject things irrationally. If you want them to get a look at it, just say “Hey, I’m working in a job that’s going pretty good and I could get you in. Come meet my bosses?” No arm-waving freakouts about “your own business!!”

See? Your attitude so impresses me that I’m helping you.

Here’s better help: find a company (there are usually several in any given city) where you can just plain sell energy contracts without any pyramid bull-stuff. You can make more money there. It would take a really long time to get anything substantive out of “building your network” where you are right now, as the population of suckers is shrinking and the population of hard workers has never been any good.

Finally, if you develop sales skills, you’ll be able to pretty much write your own ticket if you’re also smart and particularly if you can get some education, institutional or experiential, in business.

It’s not designed for that.


This wasn’t a problem in the past, but it is today.


You see, the internet is a tool that allows communication at a level that has never been seen by the world before, where opinions, rumors, promotions, and advertisements can now spread across the globe faster than you can blink your eye.


Massive revenues can be gained or lost in days for a company with nothing more than a well placed negative opinion report on the search engines.


Mlm Downlines can be destroyed overnight by false rumors or leaders who jump ship.


Mlm Distributors have instant access to an endless supply of tools, systems, leaders, training, opinions, and sales pitches which continuously plant seeds of doubt, and distract them with promises of better, faster, and easier.


Competing ads can be flaunted on the very door-step of a companys search engine results. And, Unfortunately, there is nothing that can be done about it.


The very moment your New Mlm distributor feels frustration, feels trapped, feels failure, he or she will instantly open up to the endless supply of alternatives filling their inboxes on a daily basis with the very thing that will cure their pain and poof, they are gone.


There is no long-term commitment anymore because networkers are only as loyal as his or her options, and thanks to the internet, their options are now endless and one click away.


If you are a leader in the MLM or Network Marketing Industry, you know exactly what I am talking about and from this point forward, its never going to stop.


For better or worse, this is the new reality of Multi- Level Marketing.

If you are new to MLM, or unsure if you should join a particular company, here are some considerations that you can take into account before you join. It is important that you know them because they will affect your business in the long run.

1. Does the product meet my needs? Do you find the product useful, or you simply joined because your friend asked you to? If you are interested in gardening, you might be more interested in household products. If you love cooking, Tupperware might be your choice.

2. Is there demand for your products? Although it is necessary to be in a niche market, there must also be demand for your products. Let’s say there is a MLM company that promotes hunting products & services. Will you join? Probably not, because the demand for such a product or service is very low! And you have to decide if this product will be popular for many years to come, or simply a passing
fad.

3. The nature of the product. If you are looking to earn a residual income from MLM, the products should sell easily. People in your group need to keep buying so that you can profit. There is no point in selling a one-time product because it doesn’t really come under ‘residual income’. There must be repeated sales every month.

4. Company support. Does the company provide you with promotional materials, such as banners, email ads, PPC ads, sales website, leads, sales kits, etc? These are important because they will help you to better promote your business opportunity. If you are left alone with no company support, it is better to keep away from such companies.

5. Company history. How long has this company been in the market? You should choose a company that is around 3-5 years old. A new company may offer great opportunities, but they can be quite unstable in the initial process. A company that is more than 5 years old should have quite a number of distributors, thus diminishing your prospecting market.

6. Noteworthy mentions. Are they mentioned in authoritative sites that govern Mlm Opportunities? Are they the leading brand in their specific industry, e.g. weight loss? Have they won an awards for product innovation? These can indirectly help you when you are promoting your products.
