I am working with a financial services company that mainly markets life insurance.
I need some ideas (no suggestions of companies or opportunities) of great places, social gatherings, etc., where I can meet people that I can approach about life insurance as potential cusomers for my training.
There are many great ways to attract customers. Some examples are as follows.
Article submission.
Proper website design
blogging
forum participation that is relevant to your specialty.
I use online marketing techniques. There is no better tool then the internet for positioning. On the net you can position yourself right in front of the seeker. No need to hassle anyone.

My Mlm Downline doesn’t respect me…what do I do?
I have signed up 11 people and have over 50 people in my downline, but I don’t get respected as a leader by those in my group? What gives?
I have told them I am making over 10 thousand dollars a month too, and still they don’t look up to me for business advice. I am able to sign up people left and right and never sell anything, so don’t you think I should be given the respect I deserve for building an Mlm Business?
Should it matter that these people had more success than me prior to joining? I am after all their UPLINE! Yeah, I don’t sell anything but I am building the business! What gives?
ikkie - its “advice” not “advise”. How can I respect the opinion of someone who can’t even spell. You only wish you had the income I am making from MLM.

Unsuccessful in Your Mlm Business?
The MLM business can easily double or triple your cash. Provided that is, that you do not fall first in one of the common mistakes made by error-prone MLM business producers and distributors.
1. Avoid MLM business groups that offer commission-based compensation among distributors. There is a big possibility that it is an illegal pyramid.
The act of alluring people or business finders to enter an MLM business group has been an ordinary day-to-day street transaction among business-minded people. There are those people who will explain first the benefits that you can get from their group.
But the reality is that they will just reverse what they had said. Believe me, it may not always be the case but beware still. The only assurance you got here is your having a job. But your assurance of getting paid evenly or squarely is diminishing. You can be paid still, but until when?
2. Avoid MLM business groups that oblige the new distributors to buy expensive products or any materials that the group offers. This might be another sign of potential danger.
It always pays to be nice. But some nice people are not at all nice. This of course is not always the case.
The truth behind is that there are pyramid groups that force their newly entered distributors to purchase the expensive products or materials. Fake pyramid groups always have at the back of their minds the amount they could get. Sometimes it turns to be something from nothing.
Take this friendly advice; find ways to quit that group.
3. Do not heed what the pyramid promoter is promising that you can have more money through continued help in recruiting more distributors.
This is another clear sign of your being a victim of Illegal Mlm business. The bottom line here is work with just compensation. They might just be using you for their personal interest.
4. Some distributors do not give enough time or attention to their MLM business.
This is important. Some people are joining the group half-heartedly. But take note, depending on time and effort it will take days, weeks or even months to build an elevating career in MLM.
5. Some MLM operators take the business reluctantly as if its status will not able to decline in time.
Each member of the MLM business group must work hand-in-hand to sustain the set objectives of the group. This practice is not just recommended. It is a must to follow. Doing otherwise will lead the path towards business failure.
6. Not realizing why you are operating the MLM business.
You may realize suddenly that you do not have a definite target or objective in your business. It might be a reality that some are born as invalid plan setters.
Early from the birth of your MLM business, you should have realized the reasons why you are driving the business. Recovery from money problems of the business is not like counting 1, 2 and 3. Setting your business objectives is the keyword.
7. Have a well-established commitment to work and duty.

Randy Gage MLM Duplication Principles That Create Wealth
Randy Gage is a well-known author, speaker, and trainer. He has established himself as the top trainer in the Network Marketing profession by teaching his duplication principles. This article will attempt to explain the concept and help you understand his philosophy.
The key to success in network marketing is being able to get a large group of people to do a few simple things on a consistent basis. The key phrase here is “a few simple things.” These few simple things must be doable by a large number of people and simple enough so that that large group of people will have no trouble doing them consistently over a period of 3-5 years.
It is not what works, it is what duplicates. This is the foundation of Randy’s duplication training. There are many things that work when recruiting for MLM, but most do not duplicate. If the process is too complicated, it won’t duplicate. If it is too expensive or requires too much time, it cannot be duplicated. If knowledge and expertise are required, it won’t duplicate, because people will quit before they ever learn enough to start having success.
When making decisions about your tools and systems, make sure you ask yourself “How will this affect people on my seventh generation?” He will explain that this is how the Iroquois Indians would make decisions for the tribe. So when tweaking your system, make sure that the change will not only help those involved in the decision, but also those many generations downline.
Ultimately, you want to work your way out of a job. This is done by “building a line” rather than “driving a line.” When you are driving a line, you are the reason the team is growing which also means that when you are not there, your team stops growing. When you are building a line, you are creating leadership at each level so that when you are not there, the team continues to grow.
Grinders are the people who fall into the category of driving a line. These are the people who are passionate, hard workers. They do everything they can for their team. They dig deep and do presentations for anyone who is active and asks for help. Everyone on their team has their phone number and they work at least 20 hours daily. They usually are still driving hard on the last night of each month, making sure that everyone’s orders are in and that all rank advancements have been achieved. Grinders do well until about three generations below them, at which time it gets beyond their control and reach - duplication dies.
MLM Rockstars are those who live by these principles above, including the last one. They develop leaders and build lines. Duplication continues way beyond their reach, because the growth is not dependent on their time, expertise, personality, efforts, or presence. Their leaders are duplicating the same process and true residual income becomes a reality.
Randy Gage has proven once again that these principles are still as important as they ever were. He recently dusted off his white board and jumped back into the profession as a distributor. By applying these concepts, Randy was able to go straight to the top of his company’s compensation plan and take a lot of people with him.
