Understanding Mlm Compensation

The vast majority of folks thinking of starting an Mlm Home Business have a reason or two as to why and the reasons are usually very clear. Pay off debt, pay off credit cards, improve their lifestyle, replace a lost income. So, Understanding Mlm compensation is important. In this article I am going to address the different MLM compensations plans that are typically available.

MLM Compensation Bonuses:
Some plans employ hybrids, this is where they combine 2 or more of these payment types into their Mlm Compensation Plans. In addition to the staple plan, you may also find where a weekly bonus is offered, or maybe an infinity bonuses where once qualified you can get paid on infinite downline activity. Sponsor bonuses are also attractive; this is usually affiliated with a matrix plan and can be a recurring monthly bonus. Fast start is another popular bonus offered; it is designed to motivate new distributors to sponsor more people. These bonuses are a great way to boost your earnings, but you do have to qualify.

Uni-Level Matrix  Plans
A Unilevel Matrix will allow you to have unlimited width and limited depth in your downline. Let’s look at an example, let’s say that you are personally recruit 10 new distributors into your organization. You would earn a commission on all sales generated by your personally sponsored 10 new team members. Remember that you could in fact sign up 100 or 1,000 or even 1,000,000 on your first level. Now follow the math, if each of your 10 new distributors each signs up 10 new distributors that’s 10×10= 100. You would now have 100 people on your 2nds level. Most Uni-level MLM compensation plans pay down to your 5th level

Forced Matrix Mlm  Plans
A Forced Matrix Mlm compensation plan is pretty close to a Unilevel Matrix. However it does limit the amount of new distributors you can have on your first Level. A more common version of a forced matrix plan is a “3×9 forced matrix”. With a 3×9 forced matrix the most distributors you can have on your level 1 is 3. Now the most distributors each of those 3 can have on there level 1 is 3. So this would leave you 9 people on your 2nd Level. One of the attractions of a forced matrix MLM compensation plan is the spillover. Spillover happens when you sponsor more new distributors then can be placed on your first level. If you refer to the Unilevel example above and make the assumption that everyone sponsors 10 distributors, you would not only completely fill your 3×9 matrix, but you would actually have enough people left over to fill a 10th level and an 11th level.


Binary Plans
A Binary Mlm Compensation Plan is like a forced matrix plan, but with a slightly different twist to it. In a typical binary plan you have 2 Legs. You would normally earn a commission on the entire sales activity of your weakest leg. I have seen some binary systems that may allow you to earn commission at a later date on your strongest leg.

Researching the MLM compensation plan before joining any Mlm Opportunity is important. But, you need to also look at the upline support, product line, marketing tools and more. This will allow you to paint a complete picture before joining.

Traffic! This is the bit that you have been waiting for, you want to know how to generate truck loads of traffic tens of thousands of hits per month.

Don’t fall into the trap of believing any traffic is good traffic because you would be very wrong.

What do you think would be the highest quality traffic you could generate? Would it be people that are expressly searching google for a product that you have to offer? Your Mlm List of 100 People

         Congratulations!  You have taken the plunge and signed up into a Network Marketing Business.  What a great chance to make some real money part time from home.  The company is great, the pay plan is great, the products and services are great.  Even the people who signed you up are great.  And the best part about it is all you have to do is go out and find three people who would love this chance as much as you did.  Life could not get much better.

         Now you scratch your head and think to yourself, who could I introduce the business to?  Your upline suggests that you make an mlm list of 100 people.  That makes sense.  Of course I could find three people out of 100 that I know, you think to yourself.  So you brainstorm through your Aunt Betty, your neighbors, your plumber, the guy who sold you your car… Wow, there really are a lot of people come to think of it.

         And you pick up the 97 pound telephone.  “Aunt Betty, I’ve got something your really gonna want to see.  It’s really a visual thing and I can’t explain.  I’ll be right over.”  So you get over and when Betty realizes you have some opportunity to show her, you vaguely recall seeing that look she gives you.  A deer caught in the headlights comes to mind but you dismiss it.

         Long story short, after over an hour of Betty’s time, she hasn’t signed up, and you shrink back to your car… your MLM list now at 99.  Why didn’t she sign up?  Betty seemed perfect for this, or so you thought.

         Lets examine this MLM List of 100 people, also known as your warm market.  Ever put together a puzzle, say of 1000 pieces?  What happens when you have a puzzle piece that doesn’t fit into the slot you want?  Do you push it harder, turn it, twist it, or convince it to fit?  Heck no, even a four-year-old can figure that out.  Aunt Betty is no different from that puzzle piece to your business.  Nothing in her previous history indicates that she wants what your business offers.

         Look down your MLM list, and the only commonality you will see in those puzzle pieces is the interest for making money.  Sad thing is, even if you make one of those pieces fit your business under that type of interest and when they DON’T make money… well they will be gone faster than an Illinois senate seat to the highest bidder.

         So I encourage you.  Look for people who are already looking for what you have.  There are many ways to do that.  We’ll talk about that subject next time.

Professional Network Marketing Training Vs Company Specific Training Methods

Which one is better? You decide!

Have you actually seen your company training plan? Has anyone told you when you joined, that this is the only way that you will succeed? Have you been warned to stay away from other training programs?

I know exactly what you are thinking, that I might be poking at the hornets nest. Guess what? You’re right.

To start off gently,

Most people are drawn to a home based business by all of the Glamour first. You know, the sports cars, expensive homes, yachts, extravagant vacations and that you’ll make a million dollars in no time flat.

The next thing they tell you is that there is no experience necessary, then they tell you how great their products and services are and finally don’t worry we’ll train you.

The only real truth in all of that is they might indeed have really good products and services. But there is not a lot of emphasis on that. Here comes the stinging so let me grab my hornet spray…

The training plan is less than average and worst of all, there is no one to train you. Do you honestly think that anyone in your up line has anymore knowledge let alone the patience to train anyone in their down line?

The answer is no. They encourage you to go buy the company cd training set from the company website and you’ll be rich in no time.

Now, I am not saying that everyone’s up line stinks and that nobody knows anything. That would be an outright lie. Fortunately for a select few, you do have an up line member that is successful and will take some time to train down line members. However this is rare.

The reason I am telling you this is because, there still is an incredibly outrageous 95% non-success rate in the Network Marketing Industry. The 5% that are successful aren’t using the company training methods and most of them aren’t selling the headline products or services.

Alright now I’m going to catch all kinds of flack here, but this must be told.

The top 5% are making all of there money off of all its members. Through sales of all promotional materials such as training packs, brochures, cd’s, dvd’s, sample packs, clothing, accessories and websites. Not to forget the cost per person to attend their corporate “Ra Ra” events, which go on tour to every major city, year round every year?

Is professional network marketing training for real? Yes but do your homework and make sure you enrolling in the top level right off the bat or you’ll just be getting basic training that does not include internet training.

Network Marketing Companies are fighting back against professional Training companies because they are losing profits that they generate from the sales of their subpar training packs.

Cold Calling is a Waste of Time and Money in Today’s Mlm Industry and Businesses

Cold calling today is a thing of the past. In fact it is one of the hardest forms of action to be taken by anyone in the MLM Industry or Insurance Industry. Let alone from telemarketers who do their sales pitch on behalf of their companies. In fact we still get such calls till today.

When I first started out in the MLM Industry, I remember making calls to many of friends sounding excited without sharing too much of my business opportunity. Yet at the end of the day when we all met to share, none of my friends were interested at all rather what I got was a dressing down. From that point onwards I didn’t bother to share my business opportunity with any of my friends.

I then moved on and tried cold calling through getting contact numbers of people whom I had conducted surveys at Business Fairs and Trade shows. I was willing to give myself another chance and share my business opportunity. Imagine the rude and shocking truth I received. Almost everyone whom I had made a cold call to turned me down without giving me time to explain my business opportunity let alone introduce myself. This led me to a great disappointment where i was face with rejection after rejection. I soon became burnt out and was wasting money. Where had I gone wrong? It was only much later that I discovered that I was making mistake after mistake!

I was not being professional and building rapport with my client/prospect. I learnt the hard way that never to preach a sales pitch let alone share your business opportunity over the phone. Let me share some examples as to why this is so.

Would you discuss business or insurance over the phone with someone whom you have never met? Rather its always pleasant to meet face to face so that your prospect can see and feel that you are serious and sincere in sharing. Now you wouldn’t want to talk about investments over the phone with your client without showing some visual aids of your portfolio? I guess not. Wouldn’t you be irritated if someone over the phone were to preach his sales talk to you?

We still get such calls today from bank telemarketers or travel agencies trying to promote their latest products or services. Yet without building rapport let alone meeting face to face how can a sale ever be made?

Today its different with the Internet many Mlm Companies and businesses do not make cold calling to their prospects and clients but rather market it online. By doing so they are able to market their services and products to a wider audience and have their clients seek them out.

The next time when you receive a cold call listen to how they share their business with you. You will discover if the caller is sincere in sharing and giving value to you or just pushing you to a sale? I let you be the judge of that.
