What Are The Advantages Of Marketing On The Internet Versus Traditional Mlm?

Internet Marketing to me is much more efficient than doing offline traditional Multi-level Marketing. In this article I want to show the reader exactly what are the advantages of marketing on the internet versus the traditional offline mult-level marketing business.


Internet marketing is much more suited to people with busy lives and work schedules and can give you the same kind of income as someone who is building a downline in a traditional Mlm Company. What I love about internet marketing is that there are no meetings, you don’t have to go around hounding people down about your business, you don’t have to bug family members and friends, you can easily automate most of your advertising processes, you have a much wider arena of people to promote your business to, and it can be very cheap! Also if you have a success system in place for bringing in and following up with your leads you really don’t have to spend very much time each week building your business.


I have organized a series of automated advertising methods I use each week that work for me all of the time and I don’t have to spend really anymore than 2-5 hours a week marketing my business. All I do is pay for my ad and copy and paste, I write 30 fresh articles a month and submit them to a company called Isnare which they in turn submit my article to thousands of publishers and article directories who get me exposure all over the internet and listings in the search engines. I upload videos on YouTube, I use SiteSubmit Plus to get my leadpage even more exposure all through the search engines and 500,000 directories. To take it even further I use ezine ads and creditbased safelists which allow me to get my ad infront of thousands of network marketers at the click of a button, I use DoctorTraffic as an automated way to pull in leads from traffic exchanges.


All these are part of my success system! It’s hard to do these type of things in the offline world. I’m not saying it’s impossible but I bet your costs would be a heck of a lot higher. Just think of what it cost to do a couple thousand piece mailing to peoples homes to inform them about a business in order to generate leads for whatever you’re doing. I’m investigating a Reverse Mortgage business right now that cost about $900 to send to I believe about 5 to 10,000 peoples homes. Do you know how much internet advertising I could buy with $900 dollars? And I could hit way more than 10,000 people. These are the reasons why I love to do internet marketing versus offline marketing and traditional mlm. And this is also why I would advise new marketers to keep most of there Network Marketing Business on the internet as opposed to doing it offline.


When you buy into a traditional multi-level marketing franchise it becomes somewhat of a shock for someone who has been used to being an employee of a company for so many years to find out that they are going to basically have to become a totally different person in order to achieve any great level of success with the opportunity. You’re probably trying to figure out what I mean by this statement! MLM traditionaly speaking is almost heavily grounded in sales.


You have to be able to physically go up and talk to people about becoming a distributor on your team. You have to commit yourself to making appointments with interested parties either in their home or bringing them to weekly company meetings where your guests are able to see a presentation of the plan presented to them usually by one of your upline sponsors who are successful at what they do. You have to constantly keep talking to people about becoming a distributor or buying xyz product.


For someone who is just used to working, going home everyday and staying in the same cycle, this is a very antagonizing adjustment! Most people traditionaly need to have a very big reason why they need to change who they are internaly and many individuals would rather stay the same even if presented with the opportunity to make some decent money if it involves a major change in who they are.


This is a big reason why alot of people will turn you down when you present an MLM franchise to them. Deep inside they know that there really is some money in the opportunity you are speaking of, but the change of self is just too much of an adjustment for them. Online network marketing on the other hand offers you the same amount of pay, but at the same time allows you to stay somewhat within your comfort zone while you are trying to learn.

“MAKING MONEY WITH SAVING’S HIGHWAY!” INVESTIGATIVE REPORT”

It’s 3:00  in the morning, I can’t sleep, thought I would surf the net on ways to make money.  Here’s what I found…………Saving’s Highway a Mlm Company promising a system to wealth.  The website was simple, and easy to navigate (only one page).  After reading, I was excited at the possibility of residual income, and let’s not forget, working from home.

making money online is the hope and dreams of many networkers through out the web.  With the current economic turmoil, people are looking for the perfect solution to get paid, working from home.  Saving’s Highway promotes just that!.

Let’s investigate the offer:

1.  Product and substance……… The offer stated, Claim your  $300 free groceries, and $300 free gas
     rebates  for the year.  The company claims, by saving your receipts and turning them in, you
     recieve  $25 a month rebate for each one  totaling $50 a month or $600 a year.  That statement
     alone will make anyone, take notice.

2.  The product started with the Entertainment book, that we have come to love and use for
     great discounts.  Just put in your zip code and print out the coupons and start using them
     immediately.  That’s what I found……..  There are plenty of places locally.  I don’t have to
     change my current buying habits and save tremendously!  I can use 10 premium discounts      unlimited 20% discounts each month, and tons of web deals.  “Now that’s substance” 
     .   

                                LET’S LOOK AT HOW TO USE THE COUPONS   

I printed out 4 coupons for the day, and here’s what happened.  I first stopped for gas, saved the receipt and moved on.  I had a taste for Bar B Q, so I stopped at Bono’s, whipped out my coupon for
a $5 discount on a $12 purchase for 2 and saved $7 immediately.  I then proceeded to Blockbuster’s to return my movies.  I picked up 2 more, but this time I had a coupon rent one get one free.  saved $4.99. “So far so good.”  Time for round 2.

The next day, I wanted to check out the grocery savings and how it worked.  I went into the back office and purchased Coupons, The ones I wanted, not the ones they wanted me to have.  the cost was about $14 for $75 in coupons.  I went to Winn Dixie , purchased the items i wanted, saved $75 minus the $14
purchase cost for a savings of $61 and saved the receipt, mailed it in to the company and got back $25 for the items I purchased.  “Now thats real savings.”  There are alot of other things in the back office,  too many to talk about.

I will mention a couple other things that caught my attention Immediately! That was the Legal
assistance, health program including dental(Aetna Network) and the road side service that comes with the package.  Check it out for yourself.  Unbelievable savings.

Always Craft a Marketing Strategy Before a Marketing Plan

Put first things first. As excited as you are to get started, a plan is nothing without a strategy. First establish the WHAT (strategizing), then work on the HOW (planning). Take, for example, the case of telecommunications sales. You could choose to target customers of a certain carrier with bad service in the area. That is the WHAT - the marketing strategy. In order to reach them, you might design a web page using your city name and the carrier’s name as keywords and include a ’send me info on reducing my bill’ opt-in box. That is the HOW - the marketing plan. The plan will guide your day-to-day activities. The strategy should guide ALL your activities taken as a whole.

Proper marketing creates a desire for a service or product. To do this, you must connect to a goal the prospect wants to achieve. Once a prospect sees that your product is the solution to a specific problem that they care about, there should be no further objections as you close them.

1. What issues do people care about?
Always start with a problem that people worry about and work backwards. Have you ever made a list of the problems each of your products solves? Do they teach search engine optimization? Do they reduce cholesterol?
Remember, it has to be a problem people care about. And, they must care enough about the problem to take action. Someone whose doctor has just told them they have high cholesterol is generally ready to act. Someone that was charged $40 in overage fees last month is hopefully ready to act. Someone whose brother just got hurt and cannot work is probably ready to act. A network marketer struggling to generate leads in the cold market is probably ready to act.

2. Which problems should your marketing strategy target?
After you list all the problems that your products and services can solve, get specific about which you will target. Pick 1 to 3 problems to target. numerous factors go into making this decision. The pivotal factors you’ll want to evaluate are:

1) The number of people with the issue. How large is the market?
2) The magnitude of the problem. How motivated are people to solve the problem?
3) The competition. How many other competing solutions are there for this issue?
4) Your unique skills and expertise.

There is no right or wrong answer here. A large market where there is little urgency to change may underperform a small market where the people are eager to move quickly to solve a problem. This last sentance describes most network marketers making them one of your best target markets in most cases.

3. Where do people with these problems hang out?
Although you aren’t quite ready to move on to marketing planning, you do need to determine where you’ll find your target customers in the strategy phase. Can you reach them? If yes, what are those groups and where do these people hang out.

The Internet is one of several answers to this question and for most network marketers it is the most powerful answer. The Internet is full of niches of people expressly looking for solutions to their problems. Use Google’s free External Keyword Research Tool or the paid Wordtracker application to study the niches. How many people are searching for ‘reducing cholesterol’ or ’save for retirement’ or ‘eliminate wrinkles’ or ‘free long distance calling’? Next look at how many other pages you are competeing with for each issue.

Lots of newbies waste an enormous amount of time and money designing web pages that nobody visits because they don’t invest in truly learning Internet marketing. Please don’t begin until you comprehend the basics of searching. It is possible to be on the first page of Google, but it requires a focused niche strategy to do it.

MLM/Network Marketing? Does success come at the expense of others?

To be successful in the industry of MLM/Networking you have to accept the fact that the design of the marketing plan is set up to attract the naive. Right or wrong?
You are taught that less is more when spreading the word.
To build business, do you have to accept that many fail by design? (Many independent stats show 97% or higher)
Are the trainings set up to teach taking advantage of others?
For example, not giving full information and targeting peoples needs for extra income. Many times MLM/Network Marketing creates new buying habits for the hope or chance of financial freedom yet less then 3% ever experience profit from participation.

I am one of those who went from a tragic MLM experience to the next for several years now. I used to have a lot of faith in the system, and lots of motivation in the early 90’s. Back in Europe i went with Schwartz for a few months, and didn’t make anything, actually i ended up losing over a thousand the first month, between travelling costs, openings and meetings, with fees ranging between 50 and 200 US dollars. I think i still have some of those tapes and video cassettes. For a while i thought i was simply not cut out for the system. I tried Amway for a number of years, then Herbalife. I moved to Australia for a while and there i decided to try Network21, which had considerably lower start-up costs than in Europe.

After almost 10 years of pulling out and getting sucked back in, i finally resolved that you can slice and dice any Mlm System as hard as you want, but still it will never give you the result you want OR the results advertised.

Sorry folks, but a decent day-job will beat any of these Mlm Schemes any day of the week.
