The purpose of this article is to show you how to effectively promote your opportunity using the internet whether you have money or not. There are a lot of people who give up and quit the MLM/Network Marketing Industry for one simple reason and that is lack of money to build their business with.

The fact is, if you are going to build a Successful Mlm/Network Marketing Business it takes one of two things, money or work! You either have to have money or you have to work your freaking butt off! This article will show you how to do the second option since lack of money is the issue here.

The great thing about the secret I am about to share with you is that this form of marketing is the most effective marketing strategy long term than anything you could ever do! It takes some time to get going but once you do, the traffic and customers will be just as residual as your future MLM/Network Marketing income!

So I’ll shut up rambling now and tell you what it is. It is none other than good old fashioned article marketing combined with what is known as the funded proposal! I first need you to understand what funded proposals are and how you can set this up. The fact is, you need a system. A system that allows you to generate your own leads and provide value to these leads in the form of useful information and good affiliate product offers. A system where you have your own website and your own brand.

Ok, now that you know that you need a system with your own lead capturing website you now will need traffic to that system and lots of it. This is where article marketing comes into play. Traffic equals leads and leads equals affiliate sales and new people joining your MLM/Network Marketing Opportunity. So how does it work? You first need to understand the concepts that drive search engine traffic.

Concept 1: Relevant content. Search engines use bots or spiders to index content on the web and pull that content up when a search is done by looking at specific keywords and keyword phrases. When these words are searched for search engines bring the most relevant content up for the search.

Concept 2: Link popularity. You have a resource box at the end of your article that speaks of the author and allows you to put in a link back to your website. The more sites and content you have linking back to your website the more popular your site becomes and therefore gets ranked higher in the search engines for your chosen keywords that you would like to rank for.

That’s pretty much it. These are the most important things anyways. I can’t fit all of the information into this tiny article obviously. Everyone involved in Mlm Marketing must eventually think of new and better ways to generate mlm leads. Luckily, there are an endless number of ways to generate them online; and, new online trends mean that new opportunities are opening up every day.

Social networking sites are perfect places to generate mlm leads with large numbers of people. Sites like Facebook and MySpace keep people coming back again and again to see what their “friends” are doing. With a large number of friends and a lot of content available, anyone can generate leads through the site by befriending large numbers of other members.

Other places to generate mlm leads are forums that pertain to the same topic as the product being sold or that target the demographics who buy those items. Forums bring large numbers of people together and keep them coming back to read messages. Forums also generally allow members to have a signature file that contains links. Those links can be used to send people to a website that sells the items being marketed or to a site that tells the forum members more about joining the Mlm Company as a part of the marketer’s downline.

MLM Recruiting is the most important aspect of running an Mlm Networking business. And for most networkers, it is also the most frightening. So wouldn’t it be nice to finally know what works and what doesn’t in Network Marketing Recruiting? In order words, what do million-dollar Mlm Earners do in recruiting that the average networkers is not doing?

The truth is that MLM recruiting is not rocket science if you do it right. The following are guidelines you should consider ever before calling your first lead. Take these to heart and you should see a marked improvement in your recruiting rates, or ignore them and remain a friend of excuses.

Show Genuine Interest: Caring is one trait you must not ignore. Your primary focus should be on helping people and empowering them. All top recruiters in network marketing manifest a sense of caring and compassion toward their leads or prospects.

You show this by doing what’s best for your leads rather than what’s best for earning you quick bucks—which may not last. Supply useful information that will solve real problems or answer real questions for people.

Remember, if you first care about people, chances are they’ll care when you eventually introduce your product or business opportunity.
Communicate Often: You are in Multi-level Marketing. So you can’t help but to keep talking. But more importantly, you should communicate in ways that get your messages across.

Talk frequently to a whole lot of people, but choose your words carefully. Focus on the other person and keep the conversation flowing in that direction. Be friendly and non-manipulative in your communication with prospects (and pretty much with everybody!).

Don’t Sound Needy! Most marketers make this mistake. In your recruiting efforts never give the lead the impression that their joining matters more to you than to them. If you “beg” them to join they won’t. So project a positive and dignified personality.

People are attracted to someone who is in some sense higher than where they are in life—higher in self worth, abundance, knowledge etc. This also means you should not become emotionally attached to your prospect. It gives the impression that you’re just out for the money, and away they fly once they sense that!

Make a Connection: This essentially means finding a common ground between you and your prospects. What are their needs or interests?  Connect to those needs and interests. The whole idea is to befriend your prospect. It is easier to recruit a friend than a stranger, isn’t it?

Continue to Learn: You see, knowledge drives this industry. So if you truly want to master MLM recruiting, then you just have to keep on learning and keep on improving in the various aspects of your marketing efforts.

This will put you in a position where you’ll always have value to give to prospects. The more problems you can solve, the more friends you’ll make. As far as recruiting is concerned, Knowledge really is everything.

Finally, Be Consistent in Your Recruiting Efforts: Consistency will see you through the rough periods that every business must experience. Follow up on leads and connect meaningfully with them. Remember that it may take longer to recruit some prospects than others.

Network Marketing - How to Turn Mlm Gold Nuggets Into Worm Poop

Every network marketer hopes someday to sponsor a heavy hitter who can propel their business forward and start making dreams come true. We all keep our fingers crossed that one day it will happen. If this did happen to you, would you be ready?

A few years ago, I knew a man who did this. He was a great guy, and everyone liked him. I will call him James. This is not really his name. I would not want to embarrass this guy, because to this day he is still involved in MLM and Network Marketing Online.

James was known for his rather “diversified” approach to MLM. He delighted in joining just about every opportunity he could find, and promoted all of them at the same time. I once saw an advertisement he posted online. He listed ten businesses he was involved with, and said “Pick one you like and join me on the road to riches”. Really. Can you imagine?

At this time, I was involved with a Network Marketing Business. My upline was a very well known “heavy hitter” in the industry. I won’t reveal his name, but this man is still very much on top of the Mlm World and is wealthy many times over. The business we were in folded and shut the doors one Friday evening, which left the heavy hitter with a dilemma. He had to pick up a new opportunity and keep his downline together.

At this point, James showed up. He was also in the downline of this heavy hitter. Since James was enrolled in almost every known MLM program, this is no surprise. Anyway, he saw an opportunity and decided to send the heavy hitter some information about one of his opportunities. This Network Marketing Opportunity was built around an established, respected company with proven products.

The heavy hitter thought the opportunity was great. He decided to sign up and had the courtesy to sign up with James, who was the first to contact him about it. Within a few days, James had hundreds of new distributors in his downline, with more coming in every day. This guy had found a pot of gold that could turn his life and business fortunes around.

The sad part of this story begins here. James decided to continue promoting all his businesses, just as before. This was a man with limited time (he had a full-time job) and resources. He continued to promote many different business opportunities, and chose not to focus his time with the opportunity that would make him rich.

People upline and downline to James were concerned, and tried to help him. After all, how often does an opportunity come along like this? How often do you sponsor one of the top leaders in network marketing into your group? Even the heavy hitter became involved and tried to help, but for reasons unknown, James did not respond.

In the end, James failed to make minimum qualifications and let the business go. All he had to do was focus on this one business, because making the qualifications and benefiting from the heavy hitter’s efforts wasn’t that hard.

How could a man who believed in MLM and network marketing get a break like this and let it go? I believe, with James, that the joy was in the chase. If he stumbled on something hot and had success, he would soon lose interest and start pursuing the next big thing.

A few months after this happened, I received an email from James. He was promoting some new Mlm Opportunity he found that sold “organic worm poop”. In the email, he invited me to join this one “just for fun”. How sad. This man had it all going his way and continued to join and promote every junky Mlm Business he could find. This is a true story - it really happened.

Don’t let this happen to you. Don’t be an Mlm Junkie. Find and focus on one good business. Consider this. If someone like James was able to find and sponsor an MLM heavy hitter, think how much better you could you do if you find and focus on one good network marketing business?

After the hot opportunity in worm poop, a few years went by. I heard nothing more from James. Then, just a few months ago, I got a nice postcard in the mail. It was from James, inviting me to join a Travel Mlm. The message on the card was “Join me and travel the world - let’s make money and get rich together”.

Sure, James. Hold your breath, I’ll be there in a minute.

Mlm Success: Framing for Abundance

How you frame a request is one of the most important aspects of your communications. Framing is the context or angle in which you approach a subject. For example my four year daughter is a master of negotiation and persuasion…

My daughter never asks daddy to get her a drink… I always seem to get asked if I am thirsty, or reminded that her juice cup is empty or asked what that drink is in the refrigerator.  Often I find myself instinctively refilling her cup without even a thought.

Maybe she knows a direct request for juice would probably end up with some lesson on self reliance! LOL

She instinctively frames her request for juice as an inquiry. By merely implanting the suggestion of an empty container of juice she gets her most wanted response… A filled cup.

In our marketing efforts we want to make sure we frame them in a way that will lead to OUR most desired response. “Please Purchase My Stuff” is one frame. It says I am a salesperson desperately trying to make a dollar.

However there are more effective methods to increase the percentage of compliance with your requests.

Whenever you communicate always start with your context. What is it you ultimately want to convey?

There are so many nuances to your “positioning” you will want to consider. Maybe you want to convey leadership, competence, a “been there done that” tone, or possibly even a little mystery.

These are good starting points but still…seems like something is missing right? I call it heart. Any small business owner would be well advised to add a little friendliness, genuine concern, helpfulness and dare I say it…love to their messages!

Framing a message as a “joint search for a solution” for example is far better than an “I got the best opportunity” frame.

Which would you respond to? As I often advise don’t do what everyone else is doing. With failure rates what they are in Network Marketing the only real use of checking out what your competitors are doing is to understand what isn’t working.

Connecting to people is quite simple…In the end it is about who you are. The real context of any message is you. Ensure you are shining through your messages by framing them in such a way that promotes connection.

Frame your entire Mlm Business as a service because that is what it truly is. Helping others achieve success…that sounds like success does it not?

Which brings us to our main topic of the day…Framing for Abundance.

How do you go about framing MLM success? A good start is to build your business around an attitude of Abundance.

By framing your messages in a spirit of giving you communicate so much to your audience. You communicate that your there to help but also that you have something to offer.

Too often we see “incentives” in our industry that are blatantly designed for one thing and one thing only. There purpose is to capture a lead.

These are becoming less and less effective because what we are saying to our prospects is IF you give me your e-mail I will give you this piece of value. That may work in other industries but in MLM everyone hears this every day all day.
