I dont wanna go to a meeting, what excuses should i say to not offend a friend?
I was invited to attend a meeting about World Financial Group lastnight by a friend so i agreed instantly (because she’s a friend) without thinking anything, lol. I searched in the internet this morning about the company that said it’s an MLM. I feel like it’s just a waste of time and MLM is not my line. I’d rather spend my weekend volunteering in the thrift store coz i’m having fun there. And besides i read comment from people wasted their $100 paying that background check and asking relatives and friends contact info. Heck, i won’t give up my relatives and friends info. Now, what do i say to a friend to cancel that appointment? Should i tell the negative sides that i read in internet about the company or should i make other excuses?
If she is your friend, she will understand that you researched carefully something you would have spent your valuable time on, and you feel your valuable time will be better used doing something you love doing, and you know what the rewards are!
Sometimes friends have to make their own mistakes. If she asks, give her the details. It hurts a little to be sucked in and realize she was tricked. Let her know how successful they are at recruiting smart people, so she won’t be embarrassed.
Way to go. Thanks for volunteering.

Mona Vie just another Mlm Scheme?
One of my husband’s employees has been trying to get my husband to join him in selling Mona Vie. We aren’t too familiar with this product except is some kind of health juice drink. Hubbie told the kid to let us try the product and then if we liked it we might buy more. The response was that there was no way he could let us sample it unless we wanted to buy a $45.00 bottle because he couldn’t afford to just give it away.
He was much more interested in having my husband sell it than buy it so it led me to believe that this is just another Multi level marketing scheme.
Is this about the product or about recruiting? I joined Amway ten years or so ago thinking I would sell products only to find out that the “average” salesperson made nothing. It was more about selling you motivational tapes. Is Mona Vie like this?
Listen to that inner voice that’s telling you it’s a scam, because — IT’S A SCAM!
It’s a run-of-the-mill substandard juice product (containing a lot of grape juice) worth only about 1/10th or less of what they charge for it. The name of the game is to recruit you into the quasi-pyramid so that they can get you on the hook for monthly bulk shipments and an assortment of Monavie merchandise and “sales training” materials. Those at the top reap the profits.
This MLM is particularly bad because it has elements of both a pyramid scheme and a cult. The sales pitches for Monavie are laced with misleading and illegal claims about how it cures diseases, relieves pain/inflammation, promotes sleep, and provides energy — all utter nonsense. They were cited by the FDA for illegal advertising in 2007 and since then, many sources have written critiques of the product and the business (e.g. Newsweek, Forbes, Huffington Post, NY Times, Men’s Journal, etc.).
The company website has an income disclosure statement which shows that only a select few ever make any substantial income selling this juice (the people that got in early) and almost everyone else is making less than minimum wage, before expenses.

Lessons for Mlm Network Marketers to Learn From the Kingfisher
At a stream recently I saw a Kingfisher while I was feeding the ducks. It was amazing as it dawned on me that the Kingfisher was waiting for me to throw the bread in the water. Then the Kingfisher would go to work, doing what the Kingfisher does best. I was amazed at what I found.
I could clearly see that I and the kingfisher were working in tandem. The kingfisher waiting for me to throw the bread, so the fish could come and the kingfisher could truly do his work. What came to my mind was that this event being an analogy for me and Mlm Marketing.
The Mlm Network Marketing Opportunity throws the bread and there am I fishing. However you view prospecting for new customers or people to join your Top Mlm Marketing opportunity, prospecting is prospecting.
So how can we really become a true kingfisher in MLM Marketing?
Being a kingfisher in MLM Marketing requires us to place close attention to our MLM Network Marketing Opportunity. The MLM Network Marketing opportunity that you are part of has all of the knowledge about what works and what doesn’t. The kingfisher may be an entrepreneur type where he or she goes and does what they must do, but also has the ability to work in harmony with others.

Ok, so how do you dominate your competition and make millions in whatever business you pursue? Remember, marketing is marketing no matter what industry you’re in. Just read a few tips below that I am about to share with you…
The main determinant factor is what I’ve learned in Magnetic Sponsoring which is to position yourself as an expert and as a useful resource within that industry. Seriously, if you still do not own this book, you are not serious about your success. And I am not kidding about this either.

When you’re “the best”, your prices don’t really matter… You can charge twice as much as you competition (think Mercedes, Lexus, and Porsche), etc…
Now here’s the best part… You don’t really need to be “the best”, because that’s always relative and stems from opinion - whether it’s the opinion of your customers, or your opinion of yourself!

Now the best way to sell yourself and position yourself as a valuable resource to your customers is to “give without want.”
And this simply means that you need to give VALUABLE information freely to your target market.
So let’s say if you are in health/vitamin business, I’d write several articles and reports with content like:

Or…
“The Biggest Kept Secret of Health Industry, And How it Can Help You Live to 100!”
I would optimize these articles with the right keywords for my territory, and then submit them to the web article submission resource sites. (This is a free lead generation strategy by the way…)
Now whenever someone does a search for vitamins, your articles will come up, providing the readers with valuable tips and suggestions.

What Does Free Business Sales Leads Have To Do With It?
Looking for an internet business is a lot like driving down the only road in town, to find nothing but billboards. You quickly get caught up in programs and systems like MLM’s, affiliate marketing, blogging and a dozen other temptations.
All of them promise to make you rich. All you have to do is buy this program or that system, follow the step by step instructions and go for your life. The two things none of them stress, is the importance of getting genuine business sales leads and converting them to sales. Once you have figured out the product, those things will just happen, in some vague way, to do with ‘traffic’. All you have to do is learn the program.
Traffic, or the more popular expression; a list, is code for; this does not mean actual leads, but it is vague and sounds easy to do and it will not focus a prospect on how they are going to get sales. You see, traffic in itself is meaningless it is a list of email addresses, in line with a list of names from a phone book. The only traffic that counts is business sales leads because they are at least people who are likely to buy your product. That is, if you have something of genuine value to sell them.
If you are reading this, and you do have some business experience you are thinking; well, so far this is all very obvious!
But that is probably just before you stop to realize that a large percentage of newcomers to the internet have had zero experience in business. Even those who have had some offline experience tend to think that an online business is in a completely different category where different rules apply. They are of course encouraged to hold this belief by every hot shot marketer they run into. In any case, how many dud products did you buy before you found your feet?
Sure a list is important, but only if it is a list of genuine Business Sales Leads. Offline or online, the formula to success is the same. Your focus has to be on: No.1. customers=leads. No.2. Sales. You will get sales as long as you concentrate on customers=leads.
Everything else that goes on in a business will involve one of those two things. In the real world it is a lot easier to have clarity about that because there is rent to pay and staff to manage, shelves to stock and nobody seems to come through the door.
It doesn’t matter whether you are in a real world business, or you are doing your best to make it online, you cannot afford to lose sight of those two priorities. Get a scratch pad and keep it on your desktop and etch those two words into it in bold letters and never lose sight of your main aim because just about everyone you bump into online will try to take your focus away from it and put it wherever THEY need it to be.
People always know what they want they just do not always know what they need. It takes tenacity and persistence and patience to learn a new craft. To be able to stay single minded and ignore the sparkling temptations along the way. The less experience we have, the more our WANTS are likely to be out of sync with our NEEDS.
In the real world, very few, if any people go into a business they do not understand. Online, almost everybody starts out with a business they have little if any clues about. Often it is a business no one can profit from except the person you buy it from. Your chance to profit from a business you do not understand is nil. The trick here is to realize that if you do not understand it, you should not buy it…Ever!
Well before you spend the money you need to ask yourself; who besides me, is going to fall in love with this product? How and where do I find people like me who will buy this on just my recommendation, when I don’t understand it myself? If you don’t consider these questions before you buy you have likely done your money and wasted a lot of valuable time.
Even on the internet, business knowledge is essential and knowing and believing in your product is a given. All skills can be learned, including business, but only by those prepared to take the time to learn.
That is why those two little words; Leads and Sales, are so important. They keep you focused on the main game. They lead you to the things you need to learn and they help you make the right choices. They will ultimately drive you to succeed.
Doing business on the internet is as easy or difficult as doing business in the real world. It takes energy, determination consistency and a commitment to learn the business. It is not easy for me to say these things, I started with business experience offline, yet, like most people, I too lost focus and made mistakes. If someone was to ask me today ‘what is your dream product?’ I would say, I have a few great products, but I have only one dream product, and ironically, I found it just a few weeks ago.
For the first time in two years I am totally confident that I will achieve my goals. It may not be the same for you. For whatever reason, it seems all of us must go through some crazy ordeal of suffering, a trial by fire perhaps, before we get to where we can make a real income. You may still be going through that, or perhaps it is still ahead.
Unfortunately everybody seems to have gone through it, I am just so happy it is in my past. I have found a place that totally satisfies my two priorities. I get an endless supply of business sales leads which takes care of my no.1 priority.
I have unlimited websites which include hosting and that is taking care of my no.2 priority and the strangest thing of all is that I’m cash neutral on cost because I have been able to replace my expensive auto-responder and webhost with superior products that do not cost me a dime extra. That’s without mentioning a few other huge advantages I suddenly possess.
So it has been a big win for me on both counts and I can cross out my scratch list items for good. I wish for you what I have found for myself, an easier life, with a lot more income and some real joy in whatever you do.

Success Vehicle In Mlm
Attention Network Marketers! Amway, USANA, World Ventures, Prepaid Legal, Send Out Cards, Mary Kay, ACN, FHTM, Final Destinations, Hello World, Vemma, Mona Vie, Xango, Herbalife, and all you other MLM Entrepreneurs!
Are you not making frequent bonus checks?
Are you not making consistent residual income?
Are you not sponsoring new business partners?
Are you frustrated?
Ok, now open your mind . . . because it all starts there. And it is your mind that either helps you get to where you want to go or it limits you, preventing you from getting where you want to go.
I want you to picture your goal with your Network Marketing Business. Keep in mind that it is critical that you picture this goal very clearly. Some call it your “Why” for doing the business.
Now, I want you to think of your goal as your destination - your success, so to speak. You want to get from point A to point Z. So you develop a desire to travel down the road to success. How fast you get to your success, is totally up to you, if you even get there at all. Now, by what means do you plan to get to your destination? Well, since it is a road, the best way may be to use a vehicle. So, let’s call it a vehicle by which to travel to your dream, your goal, your vision, your “Why”. And if you have not learned by now, the more specific you picture things the greater likelihood of the universe bringing it to you. So let’s call the means your “Success Vehicle”.
The key components of your “Success Vehicle” are the tires. This vehicle has four tires. These four tires represent your belief system. More specifically, four belief systems.
- One is your belief system in the company’s products.
- Two is your belief system in the company.
- Three is your belief system in Network Marketing.
- Four is your belief system in your self.
As we all know, it is important to have properly inflated tires before you head out on a drive in your vehicle. Unfortunately, our “Success Vehicles” come with different levels of air in each tire. This leads to different levels of performance with the vehicle and how fast or slow we arrive at our destination, if at all. In fact, if you have a flat tire initially, it may take some time before you even move forward on the road. You will have to spend some time fixing the flat or changing the tire. You may have to call AAA and that will take even more time before you are off and cruising along. If you have more than one tire flat, you may have to call a tow truck, which will take some more time before you hit the gas pedal. However, if you are committed to getting to your destination, you will do what it takes to get those tires up to speed so they can carry you to your point Z.
Most likely, your first tire - belief in the company’s products had much to do with why you invested money into the opportunity in the first place. The product is usually not the most common tire that needs to be inflated. Now for the second tire - belief in the company. Usually, on your first exposure to the opportunity you get just enough about the company to make you feel comfortable. The length of time they have been around - head quarters, management team, and a few other details. So, your belief in the company may need some additional attention after you sign up. As for the third tire - belief in Network Marketing. Most actually sign up with a very flat tire. It is very difficult to fill this tire on the first presentation or the first training session. Lastly, the fourth tire - belief in your abilities. This one is actually what we bring to the table and has the most potential for improvement that will carry into many areas of your life, not just your new business.
Here are some solutions for you to help get your to your Success faster:
Tire #1 - Make sure you get familiar with ALL of the products the company offers and that you are able to explain them very well to others. Remember, you are the professional so you need to act like one. Make sure you have tried ALL of the products and are using them yourself. Think of how you felt when you went to a nice restaurant and asked the Server how their specialty dish tastes and they say that they have not actually tried it yet. Not good.
Tire #2 - Make sure you print out and read the company’s policies and procedures. Call the customer service line frequently and ask good questions. Keep up to speed on any press releases or public spotlights on your company. Quickly read and absorb their training manual and/or their system for duplication and follow it. Attend the first company convention you can.
Tire #3 - Go online and research Network Marketing on Yahoo and Google. Print out articles, good and bad and read them. Begin reading books on the topic. “Your First Year in Network Marketing” is a great first read. Attend your company’s events. Most definitely attend the first company convention you can.
Tire #4 - Begin reading books on Leadership and Sales. Make sure you are on as many company conference calls as you can fit in. Attend your local training meetings. Read the company training systems. Have frequent conversations and meetings with your upline (the Associates above you). Attend networking events and practice talking to people, as the more you do this the more your self confidence will increase. Role play with upline, family and friends on your scripting and presentations.
With all tires properly inflated, you are ready to roll. Remember, there are many obstacles and distractions along the way. Always keep your goal in mind, your “Why” - and keep monitoring your tires for leaks. Push the pedal and happy driving!

Nope. I very sincerely doubt you’ll find one..simply because most are scams. Doing MLM right takes a lot of time..and it is key that you know a lot of people. If you don’t..well..get to work..if that’s what you chose to do. I’ve had my fill of them..myself..and have five businesses I have built from nothing.

Factors to Look for in the Mlm Company
The interest in Mlm Companies has increased so much in the last years. With this interest growth, many new companies have sprung up to join the ranks of the time-tested, older MLM companies. If a motivated person is considering a part-time or even a full time career in the Mlm Business or also known as Network Marketing, or just want to see how their current position measures up, there are certain critical factors to look for when choosing an MLM company. There are enough things to be concerned about when building a MLM business, such as sponsoring and advertising, without having to think about whether or not your company will be around next year.
The first factor to consider is stability. It would be the ideal situation to select an MLM company has been around and in business for at least 2 to 6 years. The new start-up MLM companies can be exciting, but there really is something related to the idea of MLM companies that have been around for an extended period of time. Actually, the longer time the MLM company has been around, betters the chance of sticking with it. There are enough things to be concerned about when building a MLM career, such as sponsoring and advertising, without having to think about whether or not the MLM company will be around next year. The person interested in a MLM company should realize that there are never any guarantees, but with a company that has a longer track record generally has more chances of sticking around.
The second factor is to look at the leadership within the MLM company. Factors to examine include the structure, track record, and other such internal factors of the MLM company. If a person does not know the answer to these questions, call or email the company to find out. It is critical to know the answers to these questions from the beginning. The most desired attributes in the MLM company leader is savvy, honesty, and integrity inside and outside of the MLM business world.
The third factor is an examination of the product or service being promoted by the MLM company. Discover if there’s a genuine emphasis on promotion the product and not just the opportunity. Determine the value of the product for the MLM company as well as the value to the market. In addition, the products should be competitively priced, and unique.
The fourth factor is to examine the method of getting started in the particular MLM company. Can people join online, or do they have to fill out paper forms and meet with someone offline in an office? The ability to sign up online makes the whole process a lot simpler. On the same page, having the ability and option to join free will open up your opportunity to even more people. Some MLM companies allow people to join at no charge or at least take a test drive to allow them to see the insides of the business. Once someone has joined free, they have partially committed to the business.
The last factor involves the automation capabilities of the MLM company. More automation in the MLM company is definitely a better option. The parent company should provide a MLM company website that prospects can be referred to. The prospect should be able to contact you from that specific page, and the MLM company should send emails that follow up with the prospects.
