If you have read the articles and reports of Donald Trump’s huge entry into the Network Marketing Industry lately then you have possibly understood this isn’t something that occurred overnight nor is it something the Trump Empire is just’exploring’. Trump has decided to jump in feet first and take a major stake in the Mlm Industry. It’s not uncommon information that Trump has always supported the industry and on a TV appearance when asked what he would do if he were to become utterly broke overnite he answered, without delay, he would find a great Mlm Company and put all his energy into building a massive residual earnings.
In the past he’s gone so far as to publicly sponsor a particular company that may contribute the majority of its success to his support. Trump is not just going to market the products he has just acquired with Ideal Health. It would appear the company is going after major segments of the MLM industry and some industry pundits are now exclaiming in the future there’ll be only two types of players in internet marketing - The Trump Network and all those that compete against them!
The fact is that many Mlm Heavy Hitters have been secretly joining the company even before its current prelaunch phase taking with them thousands of supporters. Their impact has already been felt as the company, based on their advice, recently reconditioned the compensation plan to make it more recruiting friendly. This plan is now arguably one of the most competitive in the sector, providing great revenue opportunities both at the front end as well as in great depth on product sales.
Trump would permit his own billion-dollar brand to be related to something unless it is successful. It’d be too much of a risk. Mlm Training - The #1 Mistake Network Marketers Make
Mlm Business Professionals are always looking for a new system or a better script that will yield better results in their Network Marketing Business. More times than not, better results can be achieved by simply avoiding this very common mistake.
Just seconds before you open your mouth and begin talking with your prospect about your MLM business opportunity you first want to silently say to yourself, “I’m interested in you.” And then, throughout the rest of the entire conversation the next thing you do is DON’T BE DISTRACTED BY ANYTHING.
I know it sounds simple but boy does it show when you don’t do this. And I wouldn’t be discussing it if I didn’t see that it is severely limiting many people from being good communicators and achieving success in their Mlm Home Business.
When you are distracted by something, immediately your silent statement of “I’m interested in you” is gone because you’re not interested in them if you’re distracted by something else. Instead, you’re interested in the email that just came in or the waiter that just stepped up to the table.
In toasting a glass of wine, champagne or grape juice, customary etiquette claims that you should keep the glass to your lips until the toaster has taken it away from his/her lips.
In talking with your prospect, don’t take your attention off the prospect until the prospect’s attention goes off you. If the prospect looks at a TV, a waiter, a child, etc., don’t keep staring at them – shift your focus to what they’re looking at.
When you’re on the phone, keep focused on the conversation – no multitasking! Here’s a valuable MLM training tip to make note of: Extremely important things get skipped while you’re doing other things when you multitask.
Your replies to their statements and questions are very often incorrect or inappropriate or not timed correctly. And don’t think for a second they don’t notice…it may be “okay” with them, but they know they are second (at least) in your order of importance. This is never okay.
For those of you who’ve listened to “Professional Inviter,” (an MLM training CD set I authored) you probably recall my conversation with the lady Ruth and how she was multitasking. So I asked her to repeat what I had just said to her. Did you hear her trying to respond? It’s actually very funny when you listen to it. But that’s an example of her not being able to correctly respond because she was multitasking.
When you’re at an MLM business meeting with your guest, don’t be distracted by the environment. When someone arrives late to the meeting – don’t look at the late person. I don’t care if EVERYONE looks; don’t you. Keep your eyes on the presenter; this reveals the importance you place on the content of the speaker. Your guest will notice your actions. This also goes for someone leaving the room. Often MLM training meetings are more relaxed, but the same rule applies – don’t be distracted by anything in the environment.
Some common things I see MLM Business Professionals distracted by are:
- Men distracted by a cute girl walking by
- Women noticing the wardrobe of another woman walking by
- Television that’s in the room
- Children or pets at an in-home meeting
- Cell phones ringing
- Someone more interesting than the prospect – which should NEVER be the case
- The rattling of a health/candy bar or a piece of candy
Forget everything else and just pay attention to your prospect!
There are several things a person must do to fully master to get really good at network marketing. The first skill to learn is to BE INTERESTED IN THE PROSPECT. The second quality is DON’T BE DISTRACTED BY ANYTHING IN THE ENVIRONMENT.
If you think about it, if you’re really doing the first quality, the second quality is a given. Do both of these qualities and you will see a noticeable difference in your ability to easily communicate with MLM business prospects and product customers.

The Basics of Multi-level Marketing (mlm)
You have seen the ads that are too good to be true: “Make $10,000 a month from home” or “Be your own boss and make $3,000 a week!” These ads are in the paper, on the Internet, on television commercials and fill up your inbox.
These advertisements are trying to draw you into the elusive world of multi-level marketing, otherwise known as MLM.
What is MLM?
Multi-level marketing, also known as Network Marketing, is a form of direct sales in which individuals, known as distributors, sell products, usually over the telephone or go door to door. Distributors recruit other distributors who do the same.
Each distributor makes money on the products that their recruits sell in addition to the money they make from their own sales. The idea is that eventually the original distributor can just sit back and let the distributors he recruited make money for him.
For a fee, usually between $25 and $100, these Mlm Companies will sell people a distributor kit that includes informational brochures about the product they will be selling, price lists, order forms and an instructional manual.
When it started in the 1930s, MLM was a legitimate business practice that afforded a way for small businesses to get their products to consumers in rural areas that had no access to these products. The idea was much like that of the traveling salesman. At the time, the products sold themselves and the percentage that went to the owner(s) was regarded as an award to those who built the organization. The focus remained on the product.
MLM today
Today, with the advent of technology giving us the ability to travel far distances, there is no need for these “distribution systems.” Therefore, the focus has shifted from the product to recruiting new people to buy into the program or to sell low-quality products for high-quality prices (for example, selling a face cream that costs $4 for $25).
The idea is that Distributor A will recruit people who will pay to become distributors, and then Distributor A will get a portion of the money paid for the distribution kits and the overpriced products sold by these new distributors.
In today’s Internet age, where you can comparison shop and buy products all over the world, MLM has no place in the marketplace for selling products. That is why now they are basically just selling memberships and expecting future memberships to be sold – this is the definition of a pyramid scheme, which amounts to securities fraud. In fact, many of these companies have been forced to close for securities fraud and people who were running these companies now have criminal records.
Other marketing options
You have so many other marketing options there’s no reason to even think of using MLM in your business. You can legally print brochures, posters, and other color printing materials to promote your business. You can write press releases, create television and radio commercials, hand out flyers and business cards, partner with complementary businesses … the choices are nearly endless and have much better results than anything you will get from MLM.

Generating More Mlm Leads For Free
There are MLM lead companies you can purchase prospects from. If you have ever done that it can be an up and down proposition at best. A better approach is to generate your own MLM leads, so let’s talk about how you could do that on the Internet for free or nearly free.
1. The basic tools you will need to do this are an autoresponder and a website hosting account. You need a website hosting account because you are going to create various landing pages to promote online.
The autoresponder is where you will store your prospects name and email address for future follow up. You will create sign-up forms from your autoresponder and place them on your landing pages.
Think of a landing page is a splash page where you are trying to attract a prospects attention. Your goal is to promote these landing pages all over the Internet and get people to sign up with you.
2. On your landing page you need to have something of value that a person would want to sign up with you for. Often times a Mlm Company will offer something such as a free ebook or report the person would want to read.
You can also create things on your own and a good way to do that is to go online and see what your competition is doing. Many times this will give you ideas of things you can do to capture your prospects attention.
3. Promoting your landing page can be done for free. The first thing you want to do is create a list of keyword phrases that people would be searching for online.
Google offers a free keyword research tool that is helpful in doing that. You could start by entering phrases such as home based business; work at home opportunity, and so on. Your goal should be to develop longer keyword phrases such as 4 words or more because there’s less competition for them.
Free ways to target these keyword phrases and promotion them would be article marketing and blogging. Writing articles for article marketing or to post in your blog is not hard to do.
Try and think of what things people would be interested in and write articles about that. You can go to discussion forums and see what topics are being discussed to come up with article ideas as well.
Ultimately promoting your landing page all over the Internet, and generating MLM leads for free is time consuming but worthwhile. If you have ever prospected for MLM leads in the past by handing out business cards are facing people in person you’ll understand how much better this is.
