According to Webster’s compendium, prospecting is trying to find gold.
If you actually mull it over, internet marketing prospecting is just the methods and strategies of finding folks to talk to about your business. Plain and simple. It isn’t advanced science.
Prospecting is one of those activities that you must practice daily, or you will realize that you finish up like ninety percent of all Network Marketing people :

MLM Prospecting, if done correctly can yield a large amount of names, and you can have a lot of folks having a look at your business all at the same time.

Finding people is a skill in a lot of ways, as you want to have multiple methods of locating leads going on with your network marketing cottage business.
Finding somebody to talk to can be very easy as well, as there are folk wherever you look, and every one of them want the best out of life, and what life has to give. Finding is just looking and searching for the people who will need to use your goods and services, and also look at your business.
When you find some folks, you need to create an exposure, one that is fast and gives them an idea of who you are trying to find, and what the company is about.
You need to see whether the concept of your product and business is something that they need to understand about, or if they would help you locate some folk who do. This step is where you come to the realisation that there are just two types of folk you’ll talk to :
( These are the people which will listen to you. )
individuals that are CLOSED to new ideas. ( These are the people that may NOT listen to you. )
you may separate your prospects into these 2 classes. If they will listen to you, you move them forward. If they will not, talk product, or ask for referrals. This step is important to master, as this is where you will quit chasing folk who are not truly interested.
‘Does this seem sensible to you?’ is a great question to find out where they are with the idea you are talking about, and if they really would like to understand more about your Mlm Products and cottage business.
four ) System. For people that are willing to listen, get them into your company or upline’s inducting and retailing system, and let the system do the work. Get them on your product, and make sure that you schedule them for a formal internet promotion show. This could be a phone meeting, webcast, or 3 way, or in home meeting, or a Business briefing on a Tues. night.
If they’re not willing to listen, put them in your chase up system, and somewhere down the line, when timing is better for them, follow up with a telephone call.
This 4 step process can be compared to a Filtering system, as it’ll filter the ones that are not really interested, and you spend your time with only people who are really interested in either becoming a customer or distributor, or helping you in some form.
