Networking Marketing seems be an ever elusive and strange animal that new people begin to chase on a daily basis yet 95% of those people will never catch the animal and tame it. What I mean really is I see all kinds of hype about Mlm Compensation plans, this new business or that super new product coming out.
Some new launch on the horizon or one in full swing. You could spend hours or days on the internet looking into an established Network Marketing Company or a newly launched company so that you can avoid network marketing pitfalls. People are hustling, wrestling and making moves to get their respective companies information in front of us on the web.
Page after page of content is being added trying to get our attention, promising success, riches, health, safety, healing and so on. There are a lot of network marketing pros and cons. I think it is very interesting.
Network marketing in its truest form is about marketing a product or service by word of mouth. This is only done with people telling other people about something good. The old school way this was done and still is for many is to have group meetings or call people on the phone. Mostly this would start with your family and friends. Many of us have been on one side or the other of this. This is a very hard thing to do for most people. Selling is hard and is a learned skill. Now comes the internet and lo and behold people can get other people to sign up in their business without ever talking to them, or can they? Is it that simple? Maybe!
Think about what really has to happen with most Network Marketing Companies. To begin with, someone has to start or join a company buy the product or service regularly and then get someone else to join the business and start purchasing the company’s product or service on a regular basis. Now a commission can be paid out. Now the new business owner must intern do the exact same thing, get a new person to join the business and buy and use the product or service on a regular basis so a commission can be paid. Sounds pretty simple right? It really is however people make it complicated.
Now most companies ask that the business owners or associates get not only one person but a minimum of three new business owners or associates. Still very simple.
So let’s say I like ABC company and the product or service they market. All I need to do is get three people to join my business. How easy is that. Not so easy for most people because they will go out and shoot themselves down right away by making it complicated. I could name many things that people do, however I am going to list the things that should be done to build a network marketing company of your own. Following the steps outlined previously.
1. Join a good company that is marketing a product or service that you like or are interested in one with a decent track record and history. (this will take a bit of research) luckily there is Google. Look at 20 or so.
2. Purchase the product or service, set this up as an auto ship. Use, sell or give the stuff away.
3. Get at least three people to do step one and two.
One and two are so easy to do. Let’s try to keep step three just as simple and easy. Why not use the phone (not my first choice), email (no spam allowed), classified ad, fliers, and nice 3×5 brochure stylecards or business cards, a blog, and just say this, “Three simple steps. Please take a look at this great company. You may like the products and services or the idea of starting your own business. I did. If you like what you see follow these three simple steps exactly. Do not alter these steps in any way. All we need to do is market our great products and get paid. To your success. Thanks”.
The less said (very important) the more curious the prospect will be. Let them learn from the company website, usually provided by the company along with some of the marketing tools mentioned.
1. Join our business here www.yourcompany.com today.
2. setup your product auto ship purchase so you can use, sell or give away the product.
3. Get three new people to join the business using the same exact message that introduced you to this great business with your choice of delivery, phone call, flier, classified ad, email (no spam allowed), nice 3×5 card brochure or a business card. Keep it simple.
