Where I believe we have to start this conversation is taking a close look at what success really is. Dictionary.com is a great starting point for defining the word “success”:
1. The achievement of something desired, planned, or attempted
How do we apply this to our everyday life? Well, I really believe that success for each everyone of us is completely different. A case in point of this is what I want out of life, which is to provde a stream of income that comes in no matter whether I work or not.
For starters I grew up not knowing anything about this type of income. My goal was to simply get a “good job” and work for the rest of my life but I quickly learned that wasn’t for me.
I don’t want you to think this is about me, so why to I share that with you? I believe that if these promises are meet, then I am creating success in my own life..
SUCCESS then achieved by the continuous advancement forward to your OWN goals.
What do I mean then that is it ATTRACTED rather than pursued?
The success you hope to achieve is only attracted by who you become. In order to attract powerful people…you have to become powerful. In order to attract committed people…you have to be committed. In order to attract motivated people…you have to be motivated.
Does that make sense? So what is it that is going to allow you stand out and draw all these and many others to you? It simply boils down to one aspect…
Continuous Personal Development
It sure would be a sad thing to increase your income and lose it all because you don’t know how to handle it.. This is what I call the “Lottery Syndrome.” It happens quite frequently that people win the lottery and then I even have a person in my family that went through this exact thing. She received quite a sum of money. Several years later she ended up giving it all up in a bankruptcy. I think you get the idea. Her income (or lump sum) grew tremendously…but she stayed the same.
The pivotal point of your success relies on your Personal Development. If you’re on the continuous path of improvement and you’re measuring your success…I promise you will achieve them. Let’s make some amazing things happen on the ride to great success.
